MAC BRUSH CLEANSER REVIEW + PHOTOS

Review: MAC Brush Cleanser;

MAC Brush Cleanser, which retails for $11 or £8, is a brush cleaner from the 'oh-so-popular' brand MAC. it is designed to give your brushed a quick but thorough clean as well as conditioning the bristles. It is miles easier than giving your brushes the whole 'hair-wash' routine (involves washing your brushes with shampoo, conditioner etc.) , and gives you the chance to clean your brushes in the same look ( what i'm trying to say, is that the brushes do not have to dry overnight, they dry in a matter of minutes, if you are careful with the amount you apply ). There are two ways to use this cleanser: You can add some to a tomel/cotton pad ad swirl the brushes in this, or you can buy adding a pump/spray-top to the container, and the spritzing your brushes with the cleanser. Either way, this brush cleanser removes all traces of makeup from your brushes, and that's the whole point.

Another topic of discussion is how much product you get for the price. You get a whole 235 ml/7.9 US fl oz for only £8/$11, which is a pretty good deal seeing as the brand is MAC.

The cleanse also sports a ligh-pink colour, which I think is fun. Concering the smell, it has a light tinge of alcohol, but this does not tranfer over to the brushes.

BENEFIT 'GEE THAT WAS QUICK' REVIEW+PHOTOS

REVIEW: BENEFIT GEE THAT WAS QUICK:

Benefits makeup remover, Gee That Was Quick, retails for $21.00 or £16.50, and is Benefits only liquid makeup remover. It is an oil-free makeup remover for both the eyes and face, which is a bonus, seeing as you only need one makeup remover. It is really light and does not leave any residue on the skin, but at the same time it removes all traces of makeup. The packaging is light and quirky, like all Benefit products, and the cap is easy to use when using a cotton pad, but it can be rather tricky if you are using a Q-tip. The bottle contains 236,6 ml, which is the equivalent of 8 US fl oz.

Apart from the sometimes-tricky-cap, there is another drawback to this product. There are five added parabens in this product; Methylparaben, Ethylparaben, Butylparaben, Isobutylparaben and Propylparaben. For people that do not bother about parabens, this product will be fine, but those paraben-orientated people out there (me included) will probably be put off by this product.

Product: Nice, quick makeup remover;

Packaging: Colourful and fun;

Value: Lots of product for the price;

Would i buy again? If they would drop all the parabens, I would definetly purchase this product again.
